Commercial Lines Producer
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Lines Producer to join a dynamic and collaborative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and maintaining relationships with clients, providing tailored insurance solutions, and driving the growth of commercial lines business. This role is ideal for an individual with strong client relationship skills, a deep understanding of commercial insurance products, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management : Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for all commercial insurance needs.
Business Development : Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals, while maintaining an active pipeline of potential clients.
Insurance Solutions : Assess clients' business insurance needs, recommend appropriate policies, and provide tailored coverage options to protect their assets and mitigate risks.
Policy Reviews : Conduct policy reviews with clients to ensure adequate coverage and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products.
Market Expertise : Stay current on commercial insurance trends, competitive products, and regulatory changes in the insurance industry.
Collaborative Approach : Partner with internal teams, including underwriters and claims professionals, to ensure high-quality service delivery for clients.
Compliance : Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all client interactions and transactions.
Goal Achievement : Meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas, and performance targets.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
Insurance License : Valid state-issued Property and Casualty Insurance Producer License required (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
Experience : Proven track record of success as a Commercial Lines Producer or Insurance Sales Professional, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, including liability, property, workers' compensation, and other lines of coverage.
Communication Skills : Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively explain complex insurance concepts.
Negotiation Skills : Confident and strategic negotiator capable of securing favorable terms for clients and the company.
Technology Proficiency : Comfortable utilizing CRM tools, insurance software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Time Management : Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
Travel : Must be willing to attend onsite client meetings or industry events as needed (valid driver's license and reliable transportation required).
