We are seeking individuals with a service first mentality and effective communication skills, all while maintaining a high level of attention to details.What we are looking for:1 year experience in customer serviceInsurance related designation- preferredWhat you'll do:New Business & Underwriting SupportIndependently screens, quotes, and processes new business submissions, including initial review and triage, and processes policy issues, renewals, and endorsementsPerforms renewal reviews within department authority and makes recommendations to the underwriterProcesses manual coverages by completing accurate rating calculations, preparing manual endorsement wording, and attaching appropriate formsReviews endorsements to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelinesCollects information, performs data entry, analyzes risk factors, and coordinates documentation for underwriting files to meet policy needsOrders reports as requested by underwriters, reviews reports, and completes general duties within department authorityProvides a high level of accuracy and support to underwriters throughout the new business lifecycle and ongoing renewal account maintenanceCustomer Service & Relationship ManagementResponds to inquiries, researches customer needs, and coordinates necessary follow-up with agents and underwriters within department customer service standardsBuilds and maintains strong working relationships through collaboration with agents, underwriters, sales managers, and other stakeholdersEffectively presents information and responds to questions from individuals and groups while providing outstanding hospitalityTechnical Knowledge & SystemsDevelops and applies understanding of Commercial Lines insurance, company products, pricing, and coverages in all states where Central does businessDevelops and applies knowledge of Commercial Lines policy systems and related supporting systems to review, update, and process policies while making sound business decisions in accordance with standard proceduresTraining, Testing & Department SupportUses knowledge of Commercial Lines system and processes to help train underwriters, agents, sales managers, and other stakeholders and conducts workshopsAssists with testing initiativesPerforms department auditsHiring Range$23/hour–$30/hour represents typical starting salaries and is a portion of the full pay range for the role.Starting pay is determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, and certifications. The full pay range is broader and is designed to provide employees with meaningful opportunities for salary growth as they develop their skills, increase proficiency, and advance in the role.Total RewardsCentral establishes base pay based on several factors including labor market data and an evaluation of candidate qualifications relative to role requirements.
