A highly respected, established Chicago business law firm is looking to add an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to its growing litigation team.

Job Details
What You'll Be Doing:
Handle sophisticated commercial and business litigation matters from inception through resolution
Manage complex disputes involving contracts, businesses, real estate, construction, partnerships/shareholders and other commercial matters
Draft and argue substantive and dispositive motions
Take and defend depositions
Handle hearings, mediations, arbitrations and trial preparation
Work directly with clients and senior partners on litigation strategy
Mentor junior attorneys and take on a meaningful role within the litigation group
What We’re Looking For:
7+ years of litigation experience
Strong background in commercial/business litigation
Illinois Bar admission
Strong writing, research and oral advocacy skills
Experience independently managing sophisticated matters
Trial/arbitration experience is a plus
Portable business is not required, but attorneys with existing client relationships or an interest in business development are encouraged
