Job description
A well-established California-based law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Litigation practice. The firm represents a diverse client base that includes large corporations, privately held businesses, partnerships, and individuals across a broad range of industries.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of commercial litigation experience and a strong interest in further developing courtroom and case management skills. This position offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, including leading matters and managing client relationships.
Qualifications
Solid commercial litigation experience
Real estate litigation experience preferred but not required
Significant experience drafting and arguing a variety of motions, managing discovery, and handling related court appearances
Demonstrated leadership abilities, client relationship management skills, and an interest in business development
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services
Requirements
Outstanding academic credentials
Active license to practice law in California
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
