Job description
A leading AM Law 100 law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Complex Commercial Litigation Associate to join its South Florida team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated, high-stakes litigation matters while collaborating directly with experienced partners and representing prominent clients across a variety of industries.
Responsibilities
Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation from case inception through trial and appeal.
Draft and argue substantive motions, including motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and discovery-related motions.
Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive briefs, memoranda, and client communications.
Manage and oversee fact and expert discovery, including document review, depositions, and e-discovery matters.
Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
Develop case strategy and work closely with partners and clients on high-value disputes.
Collaborate with litigation teams and contribute to business development initiatives.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
Licensed and in good standing in Florida.
3-6 years of complex commercial litigation experience at a reputable law firm.
Significant experience handling matters in state and federal court.
Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
Experience drafting dispositive motions and managing discovery.
Exceptional communication and client management abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
