nBase Salary: $85,000–$110,000 based on experience
nTotal Earning Potential: $135,000–$180,000+ when including performance-based incentives
nEverPeak Recruitment is conducting an exclusive search for an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join a well-established financial institution expanding its footprint into the Capital Region. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-focused banking professional who enjoys business development, commercial lending, and working directly with local business owners.
nThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing new commercial relationships while managing and expanding an existing portfolio.
nKey Responsibilities Include:
nnDevelop and maintain relationships with commercial clients and prospective borrowers
nGenerate new business through networking, referrals, community involvement, and direct outreach
nAnalyze financial statements and business performance to assess credit opportunities
nStructure and recommend commercial lending solutions based on client needs
nManage an assigned commercial loan portfolio and monitor financial performance
nBalance portfolio growth with sound credit and risk management
nIdentify opportunities for additional banking services, including cash management, deposits, merchant services, insurance, and wealth management
nProvide guidance on commercial lending programs, including SBA 7(a)
nDevelop referral relationships with local professionals, businesses, and community organizations
nRepresent the organization at networking and community events
nCollaborate with colleagues and share knowledge to support team development
n nWhat We're Looking For:
nnCommercial lending experience within a bank, credit union, or similar financial institutions
nStrong business development and relationship-management skills
nExperience analyzing financial statements and evaluating credit opportunities
nKnowledge of commercial loan products and underwriting principles
nFamiliarity with SBA lending
nExcellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
nAbility to develop relationships and identify opportunities within the local business community
nStrong judgment, organization, and attention to detail
n nCompensation & Benefits
nn$85,000–$110,000 base salary, based on experience
nSignificant quarterly incentive opportunity, with high performers having the potential to earn $75,000+ annually in bonuses
