The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of diagnosing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles and equipment and perform preventative maintenance. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic and quality workmanship. closed most major holidays- Home on Weekends- Health/dental/vision insurance- 401(K) - Company Match!- Team member discount program- Continuing education/training- Uniform Program- ...And being a part of a company that offers a career, not just a job!What you will be doing as a Commercial Mechanic:- Perform mechanical work including but not limited to alignments, brakes, suspensions, electrical, hydraulic, kingpins, fluid changes, and DOT Inspections for commercial and light truck applications.- No engine or transmission work is performed at this facility.- Providing guidance and training to other team members- Helping to assign jobs and duties to team members- Assisting with scheduling customer jobs- Helping to motivate team members and keep them on task- Maintain and control parts and supplies inventory.- Track and record work performed and create work orders for customer jobs.What We're Looking For:- Six years of general mechanical work experience, including at least 3 years of experience with commercial vehicles.- Experience doing commercial vehicle alignments is a must.- Must have own tools and tool storage.- Experience working with computer point of sale software is a plus.- Possessing a CDL is a plus.Who we are:For more than 77 years, Best-One Tire & Service has grown from a single service station into one of North America's largest independent tire dealers, with 285+ locations across 35+ states.
