Commercial Painting ForemanThe Commercial Painting Foreman plays a critical leadership role in the successful execution of large-scale commercial and industrial painting projects. This position is responsible for leading crews on job sites, maintaining production schedules, upholding quality and safety standards, and working closely with the Project Manager to deliver projects on time and with excellence.Duties & Responsibilities:Lead, organize, and supervise painting crews on commercial job sitesHold team members accountable to daily tasks, productivity goals, and quality standardsPrepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and primingApply paints, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipmentOperate and maintain painting tools, equipment, and machineryClean and maintain equipment and work areas using appropriate cleaning methodsCommunicate effectively with crew members, project managers, clients, and other trades on siteEnforce safety policies, demonstrate proper safety procedures, and address job-site safety concernsRead and interpret blueprints, plans, and specificationsPerform additional duties as assigned to support project successRequired Skills/Abilities:Proven leadership and team management skillsAbility to read and understand blueprints and job specificationsValid driver's license with reliable transportationStrong teamwork mindset and positive attitudeExperience operating lifts (scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.)Ability to follow directions and company proceduresProfessional, friendly demeanor with strong communication skillsProficient in the safe and efficient use of hand and power toolsPhysical & General Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of equipment and materialsComfortable working at heights up to 50 feet on ladders, lifts, or roofsAbility to kneel, bend, and perform repetitive motionsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeWillingness and ability to wear a respirator and required personal protective equipmentMust be 18 years of age or olderBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, Accident, Short Term Disability and Voluntary Term Life InsuranceSimple IRA with company matchPaid Time Off 6 paid holidays per year
