Job description
FM seeks a Production Underwriter to build and profitably grow a commercial insurance portfolio. You will underwrite new and renewal business, evaluating financials, operations, and loss history to determine risk quality, pricing, and coverage terms. Partner closely with brokers to develop opportunities, negotiate structures, and win attractive accounts while maintaining strong underwriting discipline. You’ll monitor portfolio performance, collaborate with claims and actuarial, and recommend adjustments to guidelines and appetite. This role suits a commercially minded underwriter who enjoys market-facing work and data-driven decisions.
