Role Description The Commercial Property Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Wilmette, IL, with flexibility for part-time work from home. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial properties, including tenant relations, lease administration, and coordination of maintenance and repairs. The Commercial Property Manager will monitor property performance, manage operating budgets, oversee vendors and service providers, and ensure properties meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards. Responsibilities include supporting lease negotiations, preparing property reports, tracking rent collections, and addressing tenant inquiries in a timely, professional manner. The role also involves collaborating with ownership, asset management, and accounting teams to support long-term property value and investor objectives.
Qualifications
Strong property management skills, including day-to-day operations, vendor oversight, and budgeting.
Experience with lease administration and working with commercial leases, including documentation and compliance.
Ability to support or lead lease negotiations while aligning terms with ownership and investor goals.
Effective communication skills for interacting with tenants, vendors, investors, and internal teams.
Relevant experience in commercial real estate management or a closely related field.
Proficiency with property management software and standard office productivity tools.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience. xhqgsiq
