nJob Description:
nAt Regions, the Commercial Relationship Manager Associate serves as primary coverage support for a Commercial Relationship Manager or team, assisting in the cultivation of client relationships by conducting research, staying abreast of client and industry trends, and participating in industry and client related strategic and tactical planning.
nPrimary Responsibilities
nnnAssists in cultivation of client relationships by conducting industry research, staying abreast of client and industry trends, and pursing prospects in targeted industry segments
n
nnTracks and maintains key internal databases to enhance client deliverables
n
nnDevelops and maintains detailed financial models for valuation, LBO, recapitalization and refinancing analysis
n
nnServes as the primary point of contact for the Coverage Banker for client pitches and internal deal screens
n
nnLeads the preparation of written material, including client pitches and internal deal screens
n
nnParticipates in client meetings, due diligence sessions, and other interactions during which provides exposure to key executives and senior bankers
n
nnIdentifies Regions 360 opportunities across the product platform and coordinates discussions with Syndicated Finance, Corporate Finance, Derivatives, Leverage Finance, Treasury Management and others
n
nnContributes to client planning by identifying new products, utilizing RCLIQ and other internal tools
n
nnQualifies prospects and builds a database from which an intelligent business development campaign can be launched
n
nnIdentifies the best person within a prospect to meet with (i.e. Owner, CFO, Treasurer, AT, etc.)
n
nnHelps coordinate and directs packages through the approval process including preparation of capital commitments analysis and pricing models and coordinating communication and discussions with Credit Products Partners
n
n nThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
nThis position is incentive eligible.
nRequirements
nnnBachelor's degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
n
nnThree (3) years of experience in commercial credit analysis and/or commercial lending analysis
n
nnFormal credit or commercial loan training
n
n nSkills and Competencies
nnnAbility to self direct and prioritize tasks, demonstrating both management skills and ability to achieve communicated deadlines
n
nnExcellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
n
nnStrong sense of accountability with a results-driven orientation as part of a collaborative team environment
n
nnStrong understanding of financial statements
n
nnSuperior verbal and written communication skills
n

nCompensation Details
nPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
nThe target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

nIncentive Pay Plans:
nThis role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
