Installation of Single-Ply, TPO, Modified, Coatings, Shingled roof systems. Perform essential roofing services to help maintain and repair roofing systems. Experience different aspects of the industry and perform tasks that help improve the efficiency of the crew and exceed the customer's expectations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Sets up and works safely from safety harness, ladders, and scaffoldingInspect roofing for damage and perform any needed repairsRemoves damaged roofs and flashingsClean rooftops by removing leaves, ice and other debrisUse hand tools such as hammers, electric staplers and electric spraying toolsInstalls roofing materials such as polyurethane, shingles, elastomeric coatings, tiles, TPO, PVC and other roofing systemsPerforms torch down and cold process methods to various roofing systemsLocates problems on roofs and determines the best repair proceduresMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:2 Years Roofing ExperienceHigh school education or GEDPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Valid Driver's LicenseSpray coating experience a plusKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Physical fitness level that will allow for quick movement, climbing, bending and lifting heavy loadsPrevious experience in roofing, construction, or related scope of workGeneral knowledge of roofing procedures, techniques, and specialtiesStrong work ethic and desire to perform quality workWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Regularly wear gloves, hard hats, safety goggles, or earplugs, depending on the jobAre sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures when working outdoorsAble to lift 40 poundsUsually work close to others, typically within a few feetThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
