Commercial Roofing Foreman / Lead ManJB Roofing, A Tecta America Company, is looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman / Lead Man to lead field crews and deliver safe, high-quality commercial roofing projects.This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced roofer who knows how to run a crew, maintain productivity, and get the job done right. Miller Scholarship opportunities for eligible dependentsFor overnight out-of-town projects, hotel accommodations are company-paid and employees receive a daily meal stipend.Lead and direct roofing crews on commercial roofing projects.Plan daily work activities and assign responsibilities to crew members.Coordinate with the Project Manager to maintain schedules and minimize downtime.Review project plans, specifications, drawings, and work requirements.Monitor installation quality to ensure work meets project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and company standards.Track job progress and communicate production, labor, material, and jobsite needs to the Project Manager.Identify and resolve routine field issues to keep projects moving.Coordinate professionally with general contractors, subcontractors, customers, and other trades.Enforce OSHA requirements and company safety policies on the jobsite.Conduct and document toolbox talks and required safety activities.Ensure proper use and care of company tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles.Complete project punch lists with a goal of zero outstanding items before leaving the jobsite.Provide regular job progress photos.Complete daily job reports, employee hours, extra work orders, safety documentation, photographs, and other required paperwork accurately and on time.Must be at least 18 years oldRoofing Foreman or roofing crew leadership experience requiredValid driver's license requiredCommercial roofing installation and repair experienceAbility to lead a crew, organize daily work, and maintain jobsite productivityAbility to read and understand project drawings, sketches, specifications, and roofing detailsKnowledge of commercial roofing safety practices and proceduresAbility to safely work at heights and access commercial rooftops using laddersStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsWe're looking for someone with hands-on knowledge of commercial roofing systems. Experience with the following is highly valued:TPOPVCEPDMModified BitumenBuilt-Up Roofing (BUR)Asphalt roofing systemsThe standard workweek is Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend and out-of-town work depending on project needs. During a standard workweek, employees are typically home in the evenings.When overnight travel is required, JB Roofing provides company-paid hotel accommodations and a daily meal stipend.This is an active, field-based position requiring regular work on commercial rooftops and construction sites. Candidates must be able to:Work safely at heights and on uneven or sloped roofing surfacesClimb ladders and access rooftopsStand and walk for extended periodsFrequently squat, kneel, push, and pullFrequently handle weights up to approximately 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 poundsSafely operate roofing tools and mechanical equipmentWork outdoors in varying weather conditions, including temperatures exceeding 90°FJB Roofing believes in developing its people through hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement.
