Commercial Roofing Project Manager / EstimatorThe Staff Pad has partnered with a leading commercial roofing contractor to identify an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager / Estimator to join its growing team in Saginaw, Texas. This organization delivers commercial roofing, reroofing, restoration, maintenance, and waterproofing solutions for clients across a wide range of commercial and industrial facilities. They are seeking a seasoned construction professional who can successfully estimate projects, manage execution from award through closeout, and build lasting relationships with customers and project stakeholders.This role is ideal for an experienced commercial roofing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys balancing estimating with project management, and takes pride in delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.Estimating & Preconstruction:Prepare accurate estimates from blueprints, specifications, field measurements, site inspections, photographs, sketches, and construction documentsReview plans and contract documents to determine project scope, constructability, labor requirements, equipment, and material needsIdentify scope gaps, specification discrepancies, and scheduling conflicts before project awardDevelop detailed project budgets and pricing for commercial roofing projectsPrepare customer proposals, change order estimates, and supporting documentationPerform field inspections and gather information necessary for accurate project pricingProject Management:Manage commercial roofing projects from contract award through final closeoutDevelop project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, equipment requirements, material procurement, and subcontractor coordinationOversee project execution while ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budgetMonitor labor, material, subcontractor, and equipment costs throughout the project lifecycleReview and manage project financial performance, including WIP reporting and cost-to-complete forecastingPrepare and negotiate change orders while ensuring timely customer approvalsCoordinate project closeout activities, warranty documentation, and final project completionClient & Team Collaboration:Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, property managers, and subcontractorsAttend preconstruction meetings, project kickoff meetings, job progress meetings, and client updatesWork closely with field leadership to ensure successful project executionCoordinate with estimating, operations, and executive leadership to prioritize workload and project successSafety & Quality:Promote a strong culture of jobsite safety and operational excellenceConduct pre-job safety planning and ensure compliance with company safety standardsMonitor project quality and ensure all work meets contract requirements and industry best practicesAddress project challenges proactively to minimize delays and maintain customer satisfactionWhat We're Looking For:3+ years of commercial roofing or commercial construction project management experienceExperience estimating commercial roofing projects and preparing change order pricingStrong understanding of commercial roofing systems, construction methods, contracts, and specificationsExperience with construction and project management softwareExperience reviewing blueprints, drawings, and technical specificationsStrong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from award through closeoutExcellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ProjectValid driver's license with ability to travel approximately 60% to project sitesAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and comfortably access commercial rooftopsPreferred Qualifications:Degree in Construction Management or a related fieldOSHA 30 CertificationBilingual (English/Spanish)Extensive knowledge of commercial roofing materials, installation methods, and industry best practicesWhat You Can Expect:Base salary (depending on experience) + Performance-based bonus opportunitiesCompany vehicle or vehicle allowance & company credit cardComprehensive medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCasual, team-oriented work environmentOpportunity to manage complex commercial roofing projects with a respected and growing organizationWhy This Opportunity?This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from preconstruction through completion while working on a diverse portfolio of commercial roofing projects.
