Commercial Service ElectricianStones River Electric is seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial Service Electrician to support our growing national operations, offering competitive hourly rates based on experience.We are hiring electricians across the state, with the expectation that you will primarily work within approximately a 2-3 hour travel range of your home location. For job advertising purposes, this position may be posted under a major city in the state; however, candidates do not need to live in that specific city. In this role, you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations on commercial properties. Your expertise will help ensure that electrical systems operate smoothly, meet safety standards, and comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while demonstrating your proficiency in industrial and commercial electrical work.The ideal candidate is dependable, self-sufficient in the field, and able to take ownership of their work with minimal supervision.Responsibilities Include:Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems including wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and control panels.Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to diagnose electrical issues and verify system integrity.Perform routine inspections of electrical infrastructure on construction sites or renovation projects to ensure compliance with NEC standards and safety protocols.Conduct low voltage wiring installations for communication systems or security devices as needed.Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports, schematics updates, and safety documentation.Collaborate with construction teams, project managers, and other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman services to ensure seamless project execution.Follow all safety procedures related to high voltage work and construction site protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.Required:Successful completion of drug screening, background check, and motor vehicle check requiredMinimum of 5 years of commercial electrical experienceValid driver's licenseSelf-starterKnowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting techniques.Ability to use computer and iPad/technology skillsFamiliarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage safety practices, and schematic diagrams.Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, screwdrivers, pliers, diagonal cutters; power tools including drills; ohmmeters; and power testers.Construction site experience demonstrating ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments while maintaining safety standards.Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to diagnose issues efficiently using electrical testing devices like ohmmeters.We Provide:Company Vehicle, Gas Card & Credit CardPhone ReimbursementStorage Unit to Store Company MaterialsBenefits:Medical, dental, vision benefitsPaid HolidaysVacation401K MatchSign-on/Referral Bonus after 90 daysAnniversary BonusJoin us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier electrical solutions on commercial projects!
