Communications InternThe Communications Intern will work alongside the church staff to assist with a variety of tasks and projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in supporting the day-to-day church communications team efforts and provides an opportunity to develop a range of organizational and communication skills.Direct Report: Director of CommunicationsStatus: Part-Time, TemporaryFall 2026 & Spring 2027 Semesters 15-18 Hours/Week (Monday - Thursday)This internship may require having some availability on select Sundays.Position Outcomes/Expectations:Communications SupportAssist with preparation and printing of church bulletins, ensuring all content is accurate and visually cohesive.Assist in performing website audit and maintaining church website by updating and adding new information and pages as needed.Capture photography for web and social content for select events.Proofread print and digital content through the lens of the Christ Pres Brand ManualGive administrative support for Communications Team as needed. Including keeping Work Room organized, delivering print projects to ministry teams, attending ministry/comms meetings and taking notes, helping schedule meetings, and serving at Reception Desk when neededSupport Missions Director, as needed, in Monthly Missions Sundays initiatives and preparing missions-related email communications.Assist with creative media (video) projects and Sunday livestream based on interest and experienceMiscellaneous ResponsibilitiesProvide additional administrative assistance as needed by the Ministry Support staff team.Participate in staff meetings and assist with action items as assigned.Skills, Abilities, and AttributesOrganized, creative thinker and highly productive, working in a fast-paced environmentAction-oriented, displaying continual focus, passion, and initiativeProven ability to organize and manage multiple projects with a high attention to detailAbove & Beyond: Experience with graphic design, photography, and/or videographyRequirementsAll employees and interns must be evangelical ChristiansAll of the above duties and responsibilities are essential job functions for which reasonable accommodation will be made.
