Community Access Cna Or Pca | Marietta, GaJoin a Nurse-Led Agency That Puts Caregivers First!Complete Care at Home is seeking an energetic, dependable, and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for a unique full-time Community Access Individual (CAI) position serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in the Marietta area.This is not your typical CNA/PCA position!As a Community Access CNA/PCA, you will work one-on-one with multiple individuals throughout the week, helping them get out into the community, participate in activities they enjoy, build independence, and develop social and everyday life skills.Community outings may include:Restaurants and diningMoviesShoppingParks and outdoor activitiesSporting eventsThe zoo, museums, and local attractionsCommunity eventsRecreational activitiesExploring new hobbies and interestsPracticing everyday skills within the communityIf you are an outgoing CNA/PCA who enjoys staying active, exploring the community, and helping individuals with disabilities live full and meaningful lives, we would love to meet you!Pay & Schedule$20 per hourFull-TimeApproximately 40 hours per weekServing multiple individuals in the Marietta area, including individuals residing at our Marietta group homeSchedule may include daytime, evening, and weekend activities based on individual needs and planned outingsConsistent caseload coordinated by Complete Care at HomeResponsibilitiesProvide one-on-one Community Access support to individuals with I/DDAccompany individuals on community outings and recreational activitiesEncourage community participation, socialization, and independenceHelp individuals develop social, communication, and everyday life skillsAssist with shopping, purchasing, money management, and use of community resourcesHelp individuals identify and participate in activities based on their interests and goalsPromote independence while providing appropriate supervision and supportAssist with personal care and other CNA/PCA-related needs when necessaryFollow each individual's Individual Service Plan (ISP) and Community Access goalsMaintain accurate documentation of activities, services, and individual progressCommunicate with supervisors and members of the individual's care teamMaintain each individual's health, safety, dignity, and choice while in the communityTransportation RequirementsDriving and transporting individuals is an essential part of this position.A company vehicle is available when providing Community Access services to individuals residing at our Marietta group home.For other individuals on your caseload, you will be expected to use your personal vehicle to transport individuals to and from community activities.A wheelchair-accessible or specialized vehicle is not required.Applicants must have:Valid driver's licenseReliable personal vehicleAbility and willingness to transport clients in their personal vehicleAbility to meet Complete Care at Home's driving requirementsQualificationsCPR & First Aid Certification requiredValid driver's license requiredReliable personal transportation requiredMust be comfortable transporting individuals in personal vehiclePrior caregiving experience requiredExperience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferredMust be comfortable working independently in community settingsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust successfully complete required background, drug, TB, and driving screeningsIdeal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is:Outgoing, energetic, and engagingPatient and encouragingCreative when planning activities and outingsDependable and responsibleComfortable driving throughout the Marietta areaSafety-consciousComfortable working independentlyPassionate about helping individuals with disabilities become more active and independent in their communitiesBenefits For Eligible EmployeesMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid, Comprehensive TrainingTime-and-a-Half Pay for 12 Paid HolidaysReferral Bonuses & Employee Recognition ProgramsYears of Service RecognitionPaycheck Advance OptionsCareer advancement within a nurse-led teamWhy Work With Complete Care At Home?Where Nurse Expertise Meets Family-Level Care.Complete Care at Home is a family-owned, nurse-led homecare agency that has provided compassionate, high-quality care to Georgia families for nearly 20 years.We believe individuals with disabilities deserve opportunities to participate, explore, build relationships, develop independence, and enjoy everything their communities have to offer.If you're looking for a full-time CNA/PCA position in Marietta at $20/hour that allows you to get out into the community and make a meaningful difference, apply today!
