Job OpportunityCome work for an employer that cares about not only our clients but our employees.Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30/4 p.m. - No Nights/Weekends!You CAN have FUN at work - let us show you how!!There will be a minimum of 3 weeks of training (possibly longer) that will take place in Green Bay; mileage will be reimbursedJOB SUMMARY:Provides support, instruction, and assistance to individuals as they work to increase their employment skills, social skills, explore their communities, develop life skills, and contribute to/be involved in their communities in meaningful ways.JOB DUTIES:1. Implement Positive Personal Profiles and Skill Assessments to document goals and outcomes.2. Promotes, encourages and supports Person Centered Planning. Works with staff to assist people receiving services, their families, guardians and significant others to organize and communicate what are important to them. Promotes, encourages and supports the development and evaluation of individualized goals based on a person's strengths, preferences and needs.3. Provides direct care, instruction, support, and supervision to people receiving services, as needed.4. Promotes, encourages, and supports the creation or opportunities for people with disabilities to achieve goals and connect in the community to become as independent as possible.RequirementsExperience with people with disabilities or another human service group preferred.Broad knowledge of a variety of services available to persons with disabilities.Able to communicate orally or in writing effectively.Problem solving skills.Effective use of a computer for documentation-emails, reports, spreadsheets, etc.Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and crawling. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
