This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in maintaining the appearance of the community and enjoys staying active throughout the workday.Responsibilities may include:Maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of community grounds and common areasPicking up litter and debris throughout the propertyKeeping sidewalks, parking areas, breezeways, and other exterior areas cleanAssisting with basic landscaping and grounds maintenanceMaintaining pool and recreational areasCleaning and preparing common areas for residents and prospective residentsAssisting the maintenance team with projects and apartment turns as neededIdentifying and reporting maintenance or safety concernsHelping ensure the community remains clean, attractive, and well maintainedPerforming physically active work outdoors in varying weather conditionsWhat We Look ForYou don't need previous apartment maintenance or property management experience to be considered for an entry-level Groundskeeper opportunity.We're looking for individuals who bring:A strong work ethic and dependable attendancePride in keeping outdoor spaces clean and well maintainedA positive attitude and willingness to learnThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamGood attention to detailThe ability to stay productive and manage assigned tasks throughout the dayComfort working outdoors and performing physically active workA professional and respectful approach when interacting with residents and coworkersPrevious groundskeeping, landscaping, maintenance, construction, janitorial, or similar hands-on experience is a plusWhy Consider a Career with GIT?At Gaines Investment Trust, we believe our people are our greatest investment.
