nJob Summary:
nThe Community Liaison & Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to drive awareness and client growth. This role blends community outreach, relationship-building, and local marketing efforts to support the agency’s success.
nThis is a flexible, contract-based opportunity ideal for a self-motivated individual who enjoys working independently while building meaningful connections and making a positive impact in the community.
nMarketing/Networking Specialist responsibilities include:
nBuild and maintain strong relationships with referral sources such as assisted living communities, senior centers, hospitals, and rehabilitation facilities
nConduct regular in-person visits and check-ins with community partners to establish trust and increase brand awareness
nIdentify and develop new partnership opportunities within the local senior care community
nRepresent FirstLight at networking events, health fairs, and community activities
nCoordinate and participate in volunteer opportunities to strengthen community presence
nTrack outreach efforts, referrals, and follow-ups using internal systems
nAssist with initial client inquiries and support the intake process as needed
nMaintain organized records of marketing activities, contacts, and campaigns
nCollaborate with leadership to execute local marketing strategies
nSupport the development and distribution of marketing materials (flyers, brochures, social content)
nAdhere to all FirstLight policies and procedures
nManage outreach schedule independently and report on weekly activities
nSet your own schedule while meeting outreach and relationship goals
nThe ideal candidate will have:
nHigh School Diploma or GED required (college preferred)
nPrevious experience in networking, outreach, sales, or marketing preferred
nExperience in senior care, healthcare, or home care is a strong plus
nFamiliarity with the local community and ability to build connections
nBasic computer skills (MS Office, email, scheduling tools)
