nCommunity Support Aide (Community Living & Supports)
nNuLook Home Care Agency is seeking compassionate and dependable Community Support Aides to provide Community Living & Supports (CLS) services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and behavioral health needs.
nAs a Community Support Aide, you will help individuals build independence, achieve personal goals, develop daily living skills, and actively participate in their communities. This is a community-based position that focuses on teaching, coaching, and supporting—not simply completing tasks for the individual.

nEssential Responsibilities
nProvide Community Living & Supports (CLS) services according to each individual's Person-Centered Plan.
nAssist individuals in developing independent living skills.
nSupport community integration and participation in recreational, educational, vocational, and social activities.
nTeach daily living skills such as budgeting, meal preparation, hygiene, organization, shopping, and time management.
nEncourage independence while respecting individual choice.
nTransport individuals to approved community activities when appropriate.
nComplete accurate and timely electronic documentation.
nReport incidents, concerns, or changes in condition promptly.
nMaintain HIPAA confidentiality.
nParticipate in required training and supervision.
nMinimum Qualifications
nRequired
nHigh School Diploma or GED.
nValid North Carolina Driver's License.
nReliable transportation.
nCurrent automobile insurance.
nAbility to pass criminal background screening.
nAbility to work independently within the community.
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
nBasic computer and smartphone skills.
nPreferred
nExperience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
nExperience in behavioral health, direct support, human services, education, social work, or home and community-based services.
nCPR and First Aid Certification.
