Maintenance TechnicianBentley Place Apartments 5945 West Parker Road Plano, TX 75093Compensation: $21-$26 per hour, based on experience, plus monthly performance bonuses.Gaines Investment Trust is looking for hands-on, dependable individuals interested in Maintenance Technician opportunities at Bentley Place Apartments.Tell us about your hands-on experience, problem-solving skills, work ethic, and approach to providing great service.New to property management? That's okay. Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, construction, facilities maintenance, or other skilled trades can provide a great foundation for apartment maintenance.What You'll DoComplete resident service requests and troubleshoot maintenance issuesRepair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other apartment systemsPerform preventative maintenance and general repairsPrepare vacant apartments for new residentsInspect apartments, common areas, and building systemsIdentify and address maintenance and safety concernsMaintain tools, equipment, supplies, and work areasProvide professional and courteous service to residentsWhat We're Looking ForStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsHands-on experience repairing and maintaining equipment or propertyDependable work ethic and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional communication and customer service skillsPrevious apartment maintenance or skilled trade experience is a plusValid driver's licenseScheduleThis position works a five-day schedule and participates in a rotational on-call schedule for after-hours emergency maintenance needs.Why Gaines Investment Trust?We own what we manage—and we're here for the long term.
