Job description
The University of Missouri School of Journalism and the Columbia Missourian are seeking an Assistant Professional Practice Professor and Community News Editor. This full-time, benefit-eligible 12-month faculty appointment starts Jan 1, 2027 and guides student reporters, edits content, and coordinates community coverage across digital and print editions.
The editor will lead reporting initiatives, manage a staff of student reporters, and teach a journalism class while collaborating with faculty
