Job description
Starr Prepp is a community organization providing free resources and support to students K-12 and families in Los Angeles. We're looking for a volunteer (NOT A PAID POSITION — nor a promise of future employment) Community Outreach Coordinator to help us spread the word and connect with local families. This is a real role with real responsibility. We're a small, fast-moving organization that is looking to build our team.
Responsibilities
Distribute flyers and materials at libraries, community centers, and local events (with approval)
Post in local community groups about our resources and events
Research new locations and events worth reaching out to
Track outreach efforts and follow-up status
Represent Starr Prepp warmly and professionally when speaking with the public
Time Commitment — 10 hours per week.
This role is UNPAID and volunteer-based. In exchange, we offer:
