Job description
X2Robot is a venture-backed embodied AI company building foundation models and hardware for next-generation robotics. We're hiring a Developer Relations Lead to build X2Robot's technical brand across the North American robotics and embodied AI community.
Work Location: East PALO AUTO, CA
Reports to: Founder
What You'll Do
Build X2Robot's technical brand across the North American robotics and embodied AI ecosystem through social media (X, YouTube, LinkedIn), community meetups, industry events, and ongoing community engagement
Partner with product and research teams to translate technical work into content the community can actually use — blog posts, demo videos, technical talks, sample code
Build and nurture relationships with KOLs, researchers, developer communities, and ecosystem partners across Stanford, Berkeley, CMU, NVIDIA, Google DeepMind, and the broader robotics / embodied AI scene
Run community programs (developer meetups, hackathons, research collaborations) that bring the community together
What We Look For
2+ years in Developer Relations /Technical Marketing, Community Building, or related roles
Bilingual in Chinese and English; native-level written English for external-facing content
Strong existing relationships in the North American robotics and embodied AI ecosystem
Self-starter with a bias for shipping — comfortable running both strategy and execution
Nice to Have
Engineering or technical background (you can read code, understand a paper, debug a demo)
Track record of building a community or event series from zero to one
Active personal brand on X / YouTube / LinkedIn / Substack
Experience working with hardware + AI companies
