Job description
Are you 18 or older with a caring, kind, and patient nature? We're looking for compassionate individuals to volunteer with Neighborhood Companions Inc., which provides transportation and companionship to older adults in our community.
As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in helping seniors stay connected and engaged. Your duties will include driving them to appointments, social events, and errands, as well as offering companionship and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe and reliable transportation for older adults.
Offer friendly companionship and engage in meaningful conversations.
Assist with light tasks as needed during outings.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, kindness, and a genuine desire to help others.
