Companion Animal Veterinarian – Bluffton, SC
A veterinary practice is seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to provide high-quality medical care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. The role offers a collaborative environment with opportunities for mentorship, continuing education, and professional development. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical care for companion animals.
Perform wellness examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and preventive care.
Develop and explain individualized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other team members to support quality patient care.
Participate in surgical and dental procedures as appropriate.
Maintain compliance with veterinary, safety, and regulatory standards.
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented practice environment.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program.
Active or eligible state veterinary license.
Strong communication and client-service skills.
Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
New graduates and experienced veterinarians are welcome to apply.
DEA license and USDA accreditation preferred, but not required.
