nRESPONSIBILITIES
nProviding companionship and conversation
nAssisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feeding
nPerforming light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing
nLaying out clothes and assisting with dressing
nPlanning and preparing meals
nProviding medication reminders
nProviding transportation to and from appointments
nHelping family members learn safe care techniques
nQUALIFICATIONS
nAbility to treat clients with dignity and respect
nAbility to interpret the client’s provided plan of care
nValid driver’s license and transportation
nAbility to be flexible and adapt to new situations
nTolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats)
nMust be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
nAble to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
nPrior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus!
