nPay Rate: $16.56Per Diem weekday and weekend day shifts available
nGENERAL SCOPE: To Provide professional caregiving services and enable the client to remain independent in his or her home.
nEDUCATION / QUALIFICATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have valid NYS driver’s license. Must be able to work independently and complete all functions listed below without direct supervision. A personal mobile phone is required with the capability to use electronic system for scheduling.
nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
nnnAssist with walking and light exercise
n
nnPlan and prepare meals followed by clean up
n
nnLeaning of bathroom and kitchen to maintain a safe healthy environment
n
nnMaking beds and change bed linens
n
nnLight housekeeping to include light dusting and light vacuuming
n
nnLaundry
n
nnSupervise household maintenance such as housecleaning service, plumber, gardener
n
nnRun errands
n
nnProvide incidental transportation using client or caregiver car
n
nnIn sleepover situations assist client to and from bed, assist client throughout the night, prepare morning meals and clean up, launder your sheets
n
nnDocument activities in the care plan book daily
n
nnSign in and out using the telephone clock in system each shift
n
nnEnter mileage driven for the client via the telephone clock-in system
n
nnReport any significant client changes to the office immediately
n
nnMaintain required communication using established systems
n
nnAll other job duties as assigned
n
n nEXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in this or equivalent role
