nWe are seeking a Companion Caregiver to join our team! In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of adults with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, dispensing medication, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable and personable.
nResponsibilities
nProviding companionship and conversation
nAssist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
nEmployment support
nPrepare meals and snacks
nTransportation to appointments or activities
nMedical appointment support
nAssist with errands and shopping
nQualifications
nPrevious experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, IHSS provider or similar role is preferred
nReliable transportation
nKnowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
nAbility to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
nKnowledge of autism and disabilities
nCompassionate, respectful, ethical
