nComForCare Home Health Care - Sarasota is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Companion Caregiver to make a real difference in the lives of seniors and individuals in the Sarasota, FL area. nResponsibilities:
nProvide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
nAssist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
nAccompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community activities
nMonitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or well-being to supervisors
nEngage clients in meaningful conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities
nProvide respite care support for family caregivers
nMaintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients
nRequirements:
nPrevious caregiving, home health, or companion care experience preferred
nGenuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals
nReliable transportation and a valid driver's license
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills
nAbility to pass a background check and drug screening
nCPR/First Aid certification is a plus
nFlexible availability including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
