nCareage HomeCare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Companion Caregiver to join our team in Temple, TX! nResponsibilities:
nProvide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
nAssist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
nMonitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or well-being to supervisors
nAccompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community activities
nEngage clients in meaningful conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities
nMaintain accurate care logs and documentation of daily activities
nEnsure a safe and comfortable home environment for all clients
nRequirements:
nPrevious experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field preferred
nGenuine compassion, patience, and a caring demeanor toward elderly or disabled individuals
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills
nReliable transportation and a valid driver's license
nAbility to pass a background check and drug screening
nCPR/First Aid certification is a plus
nAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
