nCompanion needed for an elder in Brookline, MA
nPart-time.
nLocated in Brookline, MA
nJob Summary:
nAs a caregiver at CMK, you will play a vital role in helping our clients to maintain their independence and quality of life. You will provide them with a variety of services, including assistance with personal hygiene, light housekeeping and errands, dispensing medication, and other tasks that improve the client's living environment and standards. You will also offer them companionship and support.
nResponsibilities may include:
nAssist with personal hygiene needs and dressing.
nAssist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises.
nPrepare meals and snacks
nLight housekeeping activities
nDispense medication
nProvide companionship
nProviding conversation
nAssist with errands and shopping if needed
nJob Requirements:
nPrevious experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred but not required.
nKnowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
nAbility to adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
nCompassionate, respectful, ethical
nMust have a car.
nMust currently reside in Massachusetts
nMust provide proof of car insurance and valid car registration
