Compassionate Caregiver Needed – Waterloo, IAWaterloo, IA 50702 Location: Waterloo, IA 50702 Start Date: ASAP Caregiver Rate: $25 per hourWe are seeking a compassionate and dependable female caregiver to provide daily support for a 62-year-old female client with a history of two major strokes. The client is wheelchair-bound, with limited mobility on her left side, and requires assistance with transfers and catheter care. This role is ideal for someone experienced, patient, and attentive to personal care needs.Client OverviewFemale, 62 years oldHistory of two major strokesLeft hand and legs are non-functionalCan take a few steps with assistanceWheelchair userUses a catheter with frequent urinationCare ResponsibilitiesMorning Shift (1 hour): General wellness checkAssist with changing clothesDrain and reattach catheterSupport with transfer to wheelchair (client can mostly self-transfer but may need assistance if unsteady)Evening Shift (1 hour): Assist with catheter careSupport transfer from wheelchair to bedScheduleDays: Monday through SundayHours: Morning: Flexible between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AMEvening: Flexible between 8:00 PM – 10:00 PMCaregiver Preference: Experience with mobility assistance and catheter care strongly preferredIf you are a reliable caregiver who takes pride in providing respectful, attentive care and supporting daily routines, we'd love to hear from you.
