Key Responsibilities
In the role of Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the needs and challenges of your clients and developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
Implementing and administering various therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the unique preferences of your patients.
Maintaining accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and documentation standards for effective case management.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide integrated and coordinated care across the patient continuum.
Engaging in regular case consultations and peer review sessions that support professional development and enhance the quality of care offered to clients.
Offering education and coping strategies to patients and their families, ensuring that they are informed about mental health issues and available community resources.
Staying current with the latest research and trends in mental health, integrating new knowledge into your clinical approach to optimize patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse clientele, presenting a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use disorders. Your role as an LCSW will be vital in establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship, guiding clients toward recovery and improved mental health.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is a prerequisite, showcasing your foundational academic training.
A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of New Jersey is essential for this role.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting where you provided psychotherapy services is required.
Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy techniques and interventions, with the ability to adapt your methods to individual client needs.

Compensation and Benefits
