Work Environment
This is a fully remote position allowing counselors the freedom to structure their work environment to suit their personal and professional needs. While the organization operates Monday through Saturday, our innovative scheduling model allows you to create your own hours, fostering a work-life balance that promotes overall well-being. Our administrative team also offers in-house credentialing and manages necessary insurance participation, enabling counselors to focus solely on client care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, ensuring an accurate reflection of the patient's needs and circumstances.
Develop and implement patient-centered therapy plans, utilizing evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities tailored to client outcomes.
Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary teams, maintaining clear communication regarding client progress and care plans through detailed documentation and participation in regular patient rounds.
Engage in ethical and timely documentation processes, ensuring all records meet department standards and contribute to a cohesive treatment plan.
Provide case management services, working in conjunction with hospital and community professionals to coordinate resources and support for your patients.
Maintain professional standards and adhere to HIPAA regulations to safeguard client confidentiality and foster trust.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Mental Health Counselor at Compassionate Mental Care Center, you will work with a wide array of clients facing various mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and adjustment disorders. You will support individuals from diverse backgrounds, including adolescents, adults, and families, allowing you to utilize your expertise and compassion to enact meaningful change in their lives.
Qualifications
A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in conducting therapeutic interventions and assessments.
Commitment to working between 10 to 40 hours (or more) per week, flexible to the needs of the clients and the organization.
Preferred Experience
Experience in outpatient settings is preferred, particularly in providing cognitive behavioral therapy and managing complex cases that require collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation compliance will be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer an extensive benefits package that includes:
