Your Role's Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, request necessary diagnostic tests, and devise personalized care plans
Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently, depending on credentialing
Provide education to patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and disease management strategies
Prescribe medications and therapies within your scope of practice
Engage in patient follow-ups and assist with chronic disease management
Work alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, holistic care
Document patient interactions accurately and efficiently within EMR systems
Qualifications You'll Need
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Certifications Required
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
