Your Role and Responsibilities
Conducting thorough patient assessments, coordinating diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans
Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (according to credentialing)
Educating patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and disease management techniques
Prescribing medications and therapies per your scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, comprehensive care
Maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications Needed
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
