Your Key Responsibilities
Engaging in comprehensive evaluations of patients, arranging necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored treatment plans
Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions collaboratively with a team of physicians or autonomously (as credentialing allows)
Informing patients and their families about health promotion, disease prevention, and management strategies
Prescribing medications and treatment as guided by your licensure
Following up with patients to support chronic disease management
Collaborating with teams across disciplines to facilitate complete patient care
Maintaining meticulous records in the electronic health records (EHR) system
Academic Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) required
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent certification in a specialty
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or readiness to obtain in 90 days)
