I’m looking for a Compliance Officer for a global investment firm combining quantitative research, technology and discretionary investing across public and private markets, including equities and private credit.
You’ll work closely with investment, trading, ops, tech and legal teams, assessing new initiatives and helping improve the firm’s compliance programme. There is scope to take ownership of programme areas over time.
The role
Interpret investment-adviser regulations and assess new initiatives and policy changes.
Design and carry out compliance testing, report findings and recommend improvements.
Review third-party providers against regulatory and contractual obligations.
Present compliance reports to senior colleagues and develop training.
Your background
You’ll need 4–8 years of relevant experience in compliance, audit, legal or related operational work, alongside a strong academic background from a top-tier university, combined with an exceptional professional track record.
Regulatory compliance experience at an investment manager is a plus, particularly within a hedge fund or private credit fund.
You should be confident with regulations, numbers and data, and able to explain your findings clearly.
Compensation and benefits
$140,000–$180,000 annual base salary, depending on experience.
Year-end bonus guaranteed in the first year.
