Composite Assembler I - 2nd ShiftEaton's AER MSD Mission System Division is currently seeking a Composite Assembler I. This position is based at our Westminster MD facility and is responsible for supporting the manufacturing and production of high-precision aerospace composite components. The role contributes directly to the creation of advanced hardware that enables the safety of warfighters, supports first responders, and makes possible critical applications including aviation, space exploration, and satellite operations. Working within a high-performance manufacturing environment, this position ensures adherence to quality standards, established processes, and operational efficiency in the fabrication and assembly of composite structures.The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 per hour + $2/hr shift differential. The shift hours are 3:00pm-12:30pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.In this function you will:Completing training and enacting all steps required to fabricate and assemble a composite pressure vesselPreparing/ completing set up of your machineMixing and preparing chemicals and resinsLoading and unloading ovensMeeting daily output requirementsPerforming proper checks and procedures to ensure quality productEnsuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activitiesComplying with all work and process instructionsParticipating in 5S cell efforts and continuous improvementIdentifying improvement opportunitiesLifting up to and including 50 poundsUtilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the jobWorking safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established proceduresCompleting and maintaining their training to meet the required level of certified elements in their positionProperly managing the traceability of components to ensure accuracy
