Composite Technician - Entry Level AerospaceLaunch Your Career in AerospacePay: $23 to $27 per hourLocation: Mukilteo, WAJob DescriptionWe are seeking individuals to support the manufacturing of advanced aerospace components using composite materials such as carbon fiber and prepregs. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience or strong mechanical aptitude looking to grow within the aerospace industry.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform hand layup of composite materials on molds per engineering specificationsPrepare tools, molds, and surfaces to ensure proper material adhesion and part qualityApply prepreg materials with accurate fiber orientation and ply placementSet up and execute vacuum bagging processes for curing operationsOperate ovens and autoclaves in accordance with process and safety requirementsTrim, drill, and finish parts to meet dimensional and quality standardsInspect components for defects and ensure compliance with specificationsInterpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDExperience using hand and power tools, ideally in a manufacturing or technical settingStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailAbility to follow detailed instructions and safety proceduresComfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environmentPreferred Skills (Not Required)Experience in manufacturing, construction, or related fieldFamiliarity with composite materials or technical documentationShift Times1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Thursday2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM, Monday - ThursdayJob Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mukilteo, WA.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
