Job description
Compounding OperatorOur client, a leader in manufacturing and chemical processing, is seeking a dedicated Compounding Operator to join their team. As a Compounding Operator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Melville, NYPay Range: $23 - $24/hrShift: 5 am – 2:30pm; Occasional OT and Weekend WorkWhat's the Job?Accurately measure and mix raw materials according to specified formulations and batch records.Operate and maintain compounding equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly.Monitor the compounding process to detect and resolve any issues that may affect product quality or safety.Maintain detailed and accurate production records, including batch logs and quality control documentation.Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.What's Needed?2 years of experience working as a Compounding OperatorBasic understanding of safety regulations and good manufacturing practices (GMP).Ability to read and interpret batch records, formulas, and standard operating procedures.Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in compounding or chemical processing.Criminal background check, SSN trace, and drug test are required.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Potential for career growth and skill development.Engagement with a collaborative and innovative team.Contributing to the production of high-quality products.Supportive work environment focused on safety and quality.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
