Global Compression Services Sales RepresentativeGlobal Compression Services (GCS) provides natural gas compression equipment, aftermarket parts, and field service support to upstream and midstream operators across the United States. GCS is transitioning into a standalone, private equity-owned platform and is building a scaled sales organization to support that growth, including an expanding presence in the DJ Basin.This is a field-based, territory-owning sales role responsible for growing aftermarket parts, service, and overhaul revenue with existing and prospective compression customers, and for meeting or exceeding assigned territory revenue targets. Success in this role depends on being a visible, trusted presence in the field — the rep operators and midstream companies call first when a unit needs parts or service.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOwn and grow aftermarket parts, service, and overhaul sales within an assigned field territory; meet or exceed assigned revenue targets.Build face-to-face relationships with operator and midstream field and operations personnel.Identify and evaluate new account opportunities within the territory.Coordinate with GCS service and operations teams to ensure customer commitments are met.Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and provide territory-level forecasts.Negotiate solutions that work for both the customer and GCS.Represent GCS at local industry functions and association events within the territory.Required QualificationsExperience: 3+ years of outside sales or field service experience in compression, rotating equipment, or oilfield services.Knowledge Requirements: Existing relationships within the assigned territory strongly preferred; strong knowledge of gas compression equipment, mechanical aptitude, and GCS's aftermarket parts and service offerings.Skills & Abilities: Self-direction and territory planning; relationship building; negotiation; effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence without direct authority.TravelPrimarily field-based — daily travel within the assigned territory, including plant sites, well pads, and compressor stations, with periodic overnight travel (up to 50-70% depending on territory size).EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree a plus.Leadership ExpectationsServes as a resource and mentor for newer field reps in the territory over time; represents GCS professionally and safely in front of customers in the field.Physical DemandsSignificant field time: standing, walking, bending, and climbing at plant sites, well pads, and compressor stations.Frequent driving throughout the assigned territory; occasional air travel.Exposure to outdoor weather and industrial environments; compliance with site safety and required PPE.Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 lbs (parts samples, literature, and equipment).Valid driver's license required.
