CT Tech 2: The Computed Tomography (CT) Tech 2 performs a wide range of complex CT imaging procedures independently with minimal supervision. This is the journey-level role in the CT Technologist series. Incumbents must be certified in Computed Tomography (CT) by the ARRT and demonstrate proficiency in general and specialized CT examinations, trauma protocols, and contrast-enhanced studies.

Incumbents must be certified in Computed Tomography (CT) by the ARRT and must hold certification in at least one additional, distinct modality beyond those required to perform the CT Technologist role. Modalities that are inherent or required to obtain or maintain CT certification (e.g., X-Ray) do not qualify unless the employee holds multiple additional modalities, in which case at least one may be considered above the baseline requirement.
