Job description
We’re seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a permanent role at a hospital in Juneau, AK. You will be responsible for accurately interpreting a physician’s scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, operating CT equipment, assisting with interventional procedures, and contributing to departmental quality assurance.
Minimum Requirements:
1 year experience preferred as a CT Technologist.
Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography. CT modality certification preferred or required per facility practice.
BLS certification.
Clinical competency in assigned modality required within 3 months of hire and maintained every three years.
Ability to perform diagnostic medical radiography and CT exams for patients across the lifespan, including pediatric through geriatric populations.
Experience or willingness to assist with interventional procedures, sterile technique, contrast administration, use of automatic injectors, and venipuncture.
Competence in tele-radiology transmission, equipment care, record maintenance, and departmental quality control procedures.
Willingness to rotate shifts, take call, and report to work within 20 minutes when required.
Willingness to learn and perform duties across imaging modalities as assigned (XR, MRI, CT, Mammography) and maintain competency in ancillary modalities.
