Hiring: Technical / CAD Designer I
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical / CAD Designer I to support engineering and project teams by creating accurate and detailed CAD models and drawings based on instructions, sketches, and layouts.
The ideal candidate will have CAD experience, a basic understanding of drafting practices, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate models and drawings using CAD software according to provided instructions.
Make model and drawing changes and revisions as directed by engineers or project managers.
Work under close supervision, instruction, and review to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
Follow established modeling and drafting practices and procedures to produce clear, concise, and consumable models and drawings.
Communicate effectively with engineers and team members regarding project requirements and timelines.
Qualifications
Associate Degree in Technology, Drafting, or a related field plus experience, OR completion of a related vocational/technical high school program.
Proficiency in CAD software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
