Computer Network Defense AnalystChiron Technology Services, Inc. currently has a Computer Network Defense Analyst career opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area.Capabilities:Work on developing and refining secure information systems, implementing design changes to strengthen defense against potential threatsUse programming and scripting skills to create automation scripts, analyze data, and support vulnerability testing and mitigation effortsApply security protocols to maintain secure operations, regularly updating and reinforcing network security practicesRun vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to uncover weaknesses in systems and applications, using tools like Nessus and MetasploitConduct digital forensic investigations to identify the cause and scope of security incidents, analyzing and documenting findingsPerform regular reviews to ensure systems meet regulatory standards and information assurance requirements, supporting a compliant security postureQualifications:A.A. degree with 4+ years of experienceB.A. degree with 2+ years of experienceDegree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security)Relevant certs / training would include (but not limited to): Sec+, Net+, CEH, JCAC courseCompensation & Benefits:$100K-$110K/ yearMedical, dental, and vision insuranceNon-matching 401K - You enjoy our support without having to contribute to get it!Basic Life and AD&D Insurance provided at no cost to eligible employeesAccess to Chiron's catalog of self-paced training coursesTwo Paid Time Off (PTO)/Retirement Plan Options10K employee referral bonus programWe are an EEO/AA Employer.
