At Ashton, you'll be part of a team that values hard work, reliability, safety, and taking care of its people.About the PositionThis position is designed for an experienced concrete cutting professional who is comfortable operating saws, drills, and related equipment and wants the opportunity to continue developing their skills.The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of concrete cutting experience, with slab sawing experience preferred. We're looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, mechanically capable, and takes pride in doing quality work.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate concrete cutting equipment including slab saws, wall saws, wire saws, and core drillsPerform equipment checks before use to ensure functionality and safetyKeep equipment clean and ensure it is safely and securely stored when not in useAttend project kickoffs, weekly check-ins, safety meetings, and other team meetingsWork safely and effectively alongside other Operators and Helpers to complete concrete cutting and removal projectsFollow job-specific instructions and maintain Ashton's standards for safety, quality, and professionalismSkills & QualificationsStrong work ethic and dependabilityAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamGood problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisionsComfortable asking questions and raising concerns when neededTakes direction well and strives to go above and beyondUpholds Ashton's reputation for professionalism and reliabilityMechanical aptitude and confidence working with concrete cutting equipmentRequirementsExperience operating concrete cutting equipmentThorough knowledge of concrete cutting equipmentAbility to complete daily activities according to the work scheduleConsistent and reliable attendanceMinimum age of 18Proof of identity and employment authorizationValid Driver's License, clean driving record and reliable transportationWhat Ashton OffersCompetitive hourly pay based on experienceAshton pays 50% of employee healthcare premiumsHealth and vision benefitsPaid time off and vacationTraining and opportunities to continue developing your concrete cutting skillsOpportunities for long-term career growthA supportive, family-owned company culture
