Job description
Concrete Finisher / Form SetterSkillforce is currently hiring experienced Concrete Finishers / Form Setters for upcoming commercial construction projects in Green Bay, Appleton, Wisconsin Rapids, and Manitowoc, WI. Candidates should have at least 3 years of concrete finishing and/or form setting experience working on commercial projects such as curbs, sidewalks, parking lots, slabs, foundations, and other concrete structures.Pay: Up to $40/hour, based on experience and skill level.Concrete Finisher / Form Setter Responsibilities:Set, build, brace, and align concrete forms to required dimensions, elevations, and gradesMeasure and lay out formwork according to blueprints and project specificationsPrepare work areas and forms prior to concrete placementPour, spread, level, and finish concreteFinish concrete for curbs, sidewalks, parking lots, slabs, foundations, and other commercial applicationsUse hand and power tools to screed, float, edge, trowel, and finish concreteStrip and remove forms after concrete has properly curedApply curing compounds and other treatments as requiredRead and interpret blueprints, measurements, elevations, and project specificationsEnsure completed formwork and concrete meet project specifications and quality standardsWork safely and efficiently with other trades and members of the construction teamConcrete Finisher / Form Setter Qualifications:3+ years of concrete finishing and/or form setting experienceCommercial concrete construction experience preferredExperience building, setting, bracing, and stripping concrete formsKnowledge of concrete placement, leveling, and finishing techniquesAbility to work to proper grade, elevation, and measurementsAbility to read blueprints and project specificationsValid driver's license and reliable transportationMust have required hand and power toolsAbility to perform physically demanding construction work and work outdoors in varying conditionsBenefits:Weekly payReferral programPaid time off and holiday payMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)
